The map behind the written plan

One map of everything that sells your expertise, and everything that's missing.

Before I recommend a build, I lay out what your business already has: your offer, your proof, your site, how people book and pay, and what happens after they raise a hand. The gaps tell me what to build first.

How I use it

Before I build anything, I look at what you already have.

Most web advice jumps from an opinion to a redesign. I start with what's already working, what's missing, and which missing piece is costing you the most. That one gets built first.

  1. 01

    What goes on it

An expert's credibility ends up scattered: a bio, an article, a talk, a referral, an intake form, notes in a drawer. I pull it into one picture, so nothing you've earned gets left out of the plan.

  2. 02

    What I check

Five areas, listed below. For each one I note what's there, what's missing and the next step. The gaps set the order of the work.

  3. 03

    How to read it

Your business sits at the center with the five areas around it. What's in place is bright, planned work is dim, and a gap is hollow. An area with nothing in it goes dark, so what's missing is as easy to spot as what's there.

The five areas
AreaWhat I look at
PositioningWho it's for, what you're known for, and the offer itself
ProofArticles, talks, press, partners: anything a stranger can check
Web presenceYour site, on every device, from every way people arrive
Conversion pathHow someone inquires, books and pays
Follow-upWhat happens after someone raises a hand

A written plan covers all five for your business.

What you get

What the written plan gives you.

5 areas

checked, from how you're positioned to how you follow up.

1 first build

named, with its scope and a fixed price. You approve it, change it, or stop there.

$750

for the plan, credited in full to any build.

Why it matters

You see what I see before you pay for a build.

Every item on the map says where it came from and how sure I am of it. When I recommend a first build, you can check the reasoning yourself.

Certainty

What's confirmed, what's a guess

Each item is marked well supported, partly supported, my best guess, or not checked yet. You always know which is which.

Priority

What matters most

Click an item to see its impact and any next step. Size hints at impact, so the important work is easier to find.

Your call

Nothing goes public without you

Anything private or unconfirmed stays marked that way until you approve it.

Notes

Good to know.

  • Client maps stay private. The one on this page was built for the page.
  • The scores are my judgment. Each area is rated 0 to 4 from what's on the map.
